AMIGO HAS BEEN OK WITH ME NO COMPLAINTS ONLY PEOPLE MOANING ON HERE ARE THE ONES WHO MISSED PAYMENTS!!! if you dont pay sky, they turn you off… does that mean you got the right to complain because your missing out on family guy! I will be brief about company (skip to numbered points if your in a hurry) HERES THE TRUTH ABOUT AMIGO. Rates are high terms are good. If your looking at this type of loan then YES rates will be high thats the price us poor credit people pay (literally)If you are considering Amigo and reading reviews then heres some things to consider. 1)I personally do not beleive the reviews with full names of the people you deal with… there all very similar and I found them suspect. 2) The People moaning about being treated badly AFTER MISSING PAYMENT these companies are practically legalised loan sharks.. use your common sense ONLY GET IF YOU CAN REPAY EVERY TIME.. 3) I had about 15 min phone chat asking about ingoings and outgoings as did gurantor, this was harmless. after this money was paid in roughly 3 hours later 4) A FLAW money goes into gurantors account not yours, bit of a pain. 5) looking at it logically it appears as if your gurantor is actually getting the loan then giving you the money, but repayments are taken from your account first.. miss a payment it comes from their account. Every payday loan company adds mass interest etc when you miss payments, good ol wonga added up on me by the DAY (thats a different story though) IN A NUT SHELL…. You get money quickly you pay high rates (these ARE NOT HIDDEN, those who think they are deserve to be suprised as its all laid out in the forms you electronically sign, a brokerage fee is added if someone fonds a loan for you, if in doubt ask on phone when there selling to you) Your costs and repayments are knowledge to you before you agree.. the rest is up to you, miss a payment then you get grief but like I said you miss paying sky you get turned off you miss paying council tax you get grief, there legalised loan sharks YES they will get funny, but surley you knoew if YOU CAN OR NOT repay.. (gosh I sound like i work for them lol!) Faws are the hassle of it not being deposited into your account but guarantors, and the rates are high but im refused from high street banks so I guess I have to make do. P.s you recieve texts at first and letters after, all named my contact is called ‘Sam’ (no surname) so some reviews who name people may be accurate, however I find them suspect. Hope this helps!!!
I was very impressed how fast the loan was processed.I was due to go to germany to work for a week and needed the funds rather quickly, amigo acted quickly and the funds were in my account within one day. Thankyou amigo.

Applied early hours of the morning, straight forward and quick application, received a phone call from friendly staff at the start of the working day and my loan was approved by mid-day.. funds were in my account by the evening. Brilliant Amigo, Thank you.
When desperation called me, I called Amigo Loans (or FLM as it was then). I was actually on holiday when it all went through and, apart from a couple of hiccups on my part, it has been smooth sailing for nearly two years. Unfortunately, (and thankfully in a smaller way!),desperation called again recently. Lo and behold, within a week, it has all been sorted out. Again unfortunately, I have been having problems with my internet services, but Amigo Loans were extraordinarily helpful by phone and text. What’s not to like? Well, you may not like the interest rate but, compared to some of the payday loans which are advertised, Amigo Loans interest rates are over 75% lower and very fair – and it counts towards an eventually good credit rating.
Wanted to top up my loan was offered £5K but only wanted £3.5K and also wanted to change my guarantor. Done all on e-mail by myself and guarantor on Tuesday afternoon. They spoke to both of us Wednesday lunchtime and they sent the money to my guarantor’s account just after lunctime. No hassle and really quick, easy service.
